USOEC and Chinese Greco-Roman Wrestlers

Greco-Roman wrestlers Shen Zhixue of China and Chas Betts of the USOEC hit the mat at the China vs. USOEC competition Tuesday, Oct. 23, in NMU's Berry Events Center. Shen defeated Betts 3-1. Other events included boxing, women's freestyle wrestling and weightlifting. Competition results   Competition information

Professor Rodney Clarken, NMU education department, spent time in China from 1995-96. He was on a one-year sabbatical to pursue professional development through interaction with Chinese culture. Clarken wrote a series of articles about his experiences abroad. Read articles
