Media Credentials Information

The United States Olympic Education Center and Northern Michigan University welcome media members who are covering Superior Health Partners 2010 USA Weightlifting National Collegiate  Championships taking place April 16-18 at the Berry Events Center in Marquette, Mich.

Brady liftingMedia planning to cover the event should complete and return the official media credential form (see link to the left).  All media credentials will be left at the Berry Event Center’s main ticket office will-call window unless specifically requested to be mailed. You will need photo identification when picking up the pass. The will-call window opens about one hour prior to the start of each day’s competition.  If you arrive prior to that time, your pass will be at the USOEC office in the Superior Dome (room 109).

Although media requests are sent to the United States Olympic Education Center for processing, final approval of each request is the authority of USA Weightlifting.

A limited number of rooms are available for media members at the Country Inn & Suites (2472 U.S. Highway 41-West, 906-225-1300, www.countryinns.com/marquettemi. Rooms for media are $99 plus tax per night per room (single or double – Suites are more).You must call directly to the Country Inn and Suites to get this rate – 906-225-1300. Mention “Weightlifting Collegiate Championships” when making the reservation to receive the discounted rate.

During the competition, credentialed media will have access to the Berry Events Center's press row on the main floor, as well as to the working press area in the Berry's press box on the upper-level concourse. The press box area will have wired and wireless access to the Internet. The e-mail address you provide on the media credential request form is what will be used as your network user name.
