The film records Singh's recent visit to South Africa and her work with Steenberg Township school children and student teachers from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. The 2009 UNITED Conference is Sunday through Tuesday, Sept. 27-29. In 2008, more than 2,000 people attend more than 60 presentations and performances in the tracks of art, dance, diversity, film, food and research.  Mark your calendars and plan to attend in fall 2009!


UNITED CEU's Available

Continuing education credits are available to teachers attending or virtually attending NMU’s UNITED Conference. The UNITED course is one credit and requires written papers about  various conference presentations.
