Workforce Development and Training

Northern Michigan University’s workforce development and training staff works with regional companies, entrepreneurs, schools and agencies to meet the current and future workforce needs of the Upper Peninsula.

Credit and non-credit programs are developed and tailored to meet an industry’s needs at the lowest possible costs to participants. As a result, the region’s employees are among the most qualified, and its employers remain competitive, which improves overall economic development.
