Prior to the USOEC: Finished first at the 2007 School age Nationals (Springfield, Ill.), first place at the 2007 Quebec Junior Championships (Montreal, Quebec), second place at the 2008 Junior National Championships (Chattanooga, Tenn.).

Personal: Likes to hang out with his friends and family, read, listening to music and watching sports clips on YouTube. Wants to compete at the Senior level for the United States in World competitions and to win gold medals. Would like to travel the world and be a role model for younger lifters. Born on April 16, 1990.
