The Greco-Roman program at the United States Olympic Education Center was established in 1999.  Since its inception, it has developed a number of  U.S. World Team members at the FILA-Junior, University and Senior level.

In 2006, Spenser Mango captured two world medals; a gold at the University World Championships in Mongolia, and a bronze at the FILA-Junior World Championships in Guatemala.  Mango was the first American wrestler to ever win a gold medal in the University World Championships.  Teammate Harry Lester won the U.S. World Team Trials and will compete in the 2006 World Championships in Guangzhou, China on September 23 - October 3.
