Dennis HallHead Greco-Roman Wrestling Coach Dennis Hall grew up in Plover, Wis. where he bursted into the Wisconsin wrestling scene as a freshman attending Hartford Union High School and defeated a two-time senior state champion in the state finals. Hall finished his prep career as a three time Wisconsin state champ and a career record of 146-1-1 including 110 falls. Hall also was a three time Junior National Greco Champion, World Team member and Wisconsin's first Dream Team All-American. After his prep career, Hall attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a full scholarship to continue his wrestling career. It was there realized in order to reach his full potential as an international Greco wrestler he would need to train differently than the collegiate athletes. He went to train, travel and compete with the US Greco team. Hall was named USA Wrestling Man of the Year in 1995 as well as three time Greco-Roman athlete of the year in 1994, 1995 and 1996. Now with his competitive career behind him, Hall is the head coach for the United States Olympic Education Center's Greco-Roman Wrestling team in Marquette, Michigan. He is married to his wife Chrissy and they have four children together. |
