
The NMU Men's and Women's Alpine Ski Club is part of the Midwest Collegiate Ski Conference, which has four divisions including Ohio, Chicago, Lake Superior and Michigan. NMU is part of the Lake Superior Division, which consistently has the toughest competition in the conference. The top 5-6 teams from each division qualify for the regional race, which is held in Marquette, MI every year. The past four years NMU has had representatives compete at nationals.
Dues
Dues are $425 which includes: registration fees for the league and individual races, hotels, gas for traveling, equipment for practice and team activities.
Participants Must Supply
Ski equipment (must have a helmet), season pass to Marquette Mountain and lift tickets at races. Members are also required to purchase a PEIF pass for the year.

Cities in Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin
Practice
Practices are held at Marquette Mountain.
Monday - Thursday 12-3 p.m. during winter break.
Tuesday - Thursday 12-3 p.m. during winter semester.
Underclassman living in the dorms may come up early and live with a teammate for two weeks, until the dorms reopen.
Additional Information
No racing experience required, although it is recommended to have skiing experience.
