Snow Day Open Recreation Policy

The PEIF building will open at 11 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. when NMU is closed due to inclement weather.  Pool hours will be Noon–3 p.m. and the Outdoor Recreation Center will be open for equipment rentals and partner climb from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.  and 7-10 p.m.

The Superior Dome will be closed.  The Superior Dome will reopen in the event NMU decides to hold evening classes.

The Berry Event Center will be open for scheduled ice rentals.  

Intramural Sports activities will be cancelled and every effort will be made to reschedule affected games.  If NMU reopens for night classes, Intramurals will still be held. 

Group fitness classes scheduled for the day will be cancelled. 

If only night classes are cancelled, the PEIF will close at 10 p.m., Intramurals and Fitness classes will be cancelled.  The Outdoor Recreation Center will be open for rentals and partner climb from 7-10 p.m.  The Dome will be open until 8 p.m.
