Pilates class

Class Descriptions:

Pilates

Pilates is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. It is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind.

Power Yoga

A yoga class that is more motion-based than traditional yoga. This class will improve your flexibility while increasing strength – and you'll work up a sweat.

Step

This class uses a variety of skill levels at various intensities. The warm up will be followed by a cardio segment, cool down, a brief strength-training segment and stretching.

Yoga

Work on balance, flexibility, breath, concentration and posture.

Yoga Mix

This class will provide a fun and challenging mix of yoga based activities including traditional hatha yoga, power yoga, yoga-pilates, and other activities like stability ball and strength, balance, and flexibility training approached from a yoga perspective. This class is appropriate for everyone from beginners on up.

Lower Body Burn

Effective movements using stability balls, BOSU balls, and resistance bands will target the quads, glutes, hamstrings, inner/outer thighs, and calves.  You will be challenged with innovative lower body exercises designed to increase muscular strength and definition.

Core Fusion

A combination of core training and traditional abdominal exercises designed to strengthen the entire core with a focus on the abdominal and lower back muscles.

Total Body Blast

Total Body Blast will use a variety of kick-boxing and strength training moves to target your upper body, lower body, and core in one workout.  Improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase strength, flexibility, balance, and relieve stress!  This class is great for beginners and experienced participants alike.

Zumba

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system!  The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.  This class is fun for all levels and all ages.

Gentle Yoga

Discover stillness in this deeply rejuvenating practice using props (blankets, bolsters, and blocks). We will experience supported postures as the body naturally balances itself. Exploring consciousness and relaxation with gentle yoga poses, breath work, and guided meditation as we release into a tranquil place for mind, body and spirit. This style is perfect for seniors, beginners, those recovering from an injury or surgery, or those who have health issues.
