NMU Recreation offers three aquatic programs to recreation members and the general public. Each is offered to recreation members and day pass users at no extra cost. Contact the Rec Center at 906-227-2519 or e-mail fitness@nmu.edu with questions or to find about program dates and availability.
Where can a family really let loose and have some fun? In the water, of course. Floats, rings and all kinds of pool things are part of family night from 6-8 p.m. Friday nights at the PEIF Pool. Use our tubes, toys and other inflatable devices, or bring your own. An adult must accompany children attending the Friday Family Night Float, but we don’t care how many children an adult swimmer supervises – or what ages your little fishes are! Come join the fun. A perfect opportunity for some quality – if wet – time with your family members.
