Personal:  Likes to play the piano and ice skate.  Majoring in zoology.  Daughter of Sherri and Nick Kolin.  Born on February 4, 1991.

Before NMU:  A 2009 graduate of Ypsilanti High School.  Lettered four times.  Two-time team captain.  MVP of team as a senior.  Named Rookie of the Year.  Holds pool record at Willow Run High school in the 200-yard and 500 freestyle.  Also participated in water polo and track and field.  Swam for the Willow Run Swim Club.
