Before NMU: A 2006 graduate of Lincoln-East High School.  Lettered three times.  Team Sectionals winners in 2004.  Named top ten in 17-18 age group for Joliet Jets YMCA Swim Team.  Also played water polo.

2008-09: Placed 13^th in the 500-yard freestyle, 7^th in the 800 freestyle relay, 10^th in the 1650 freestyle at the GLIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Finished 3^rd in the 1000 freestyle, 4^th in the 500 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay finished 2^nd at the Grand Valley State meet.  Placed 4^th in the 500 freestyle 6^th in the 200 fly, 10^th in the 200 freestyle and 6^th in the 400 freestyle relay at the Kiefer Fall Classic. Placed 3^rd in both the 1650 freestyle and 500 freestyle at the Hillsdale meet. Finished 1^st (5:39.80) in the 500 freestyle and 2nd in the 1000 freestyle at the UW-Oshkosh meet.

2007-08: Placed 1^st in the 1,000 freestyle (11:34.63) and 3^rd in the 500 freestyle at the UW-Oshkosh meet. Placed 12^th in the 1650 freestyle, 800 relay team placed 8^th at the GLIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. Placed 19^th at the Eastern Michigan Invite in the 1650 freestyle.  Placed 5^th in the 1000 freestyle and 4^th in the 100 butterfly at the UW-Green Bay Dual Meet.  Took 2^nd in the 1650 and 500 freestyle at the St. Cloud Meet.  Placed 3^rd in both the 1000 and 500 freestyle at the St. Cloud meet.

2006-07:  Placed second in 1000 Freestyle at GLIAC Championships.  Placed in 800 Freestyle Relay at GLIAC Championships.  Swam personal best time in 500 Freestyle at Ashland Invite.
