2008-09: Placed second in the 5k classic at the NMU Open. Finished sixth in the 10k freestyle at the NCAA Central Regional Championships. Took sixth in the 5k classic at the CCSA Championship. Placed 10^th in the 10k freestyle at the Telemark SuperTour.

2007-08: Finished fourth in the 5k freestyle at the Michigan Tech Christmas Classic. Placed eighth overall at the Michigan Tech Trials in the 10k freestyle. Finished 13^th in the 12k at the Wildcat Invite.

2006-07: Placed 19th in 5k freestyle and 12th in the 10k classic at the NCAA Central Regional Championships. Finished 15th in the 5k classic and 10th in the 10k freestyle at the Mt. Itasca NorAm Super Tour event.  Took 19th in the 4.8k freestyle and 32nd in the 10k classic race at the Telemark Resort SuperTour event. Earned her first varsity skiing letter. 

High School: Lettered four times in cross country, four times in track, and one year in soccer.  Was the MVP for her running team in 2004 and Most Inspirational in 2005 and 2006. 

Personal: Daughter of Karin and James Gillis. Born February 17, 1988.  Enjoys sports, art, friends, family, and laughing.  Her brother Anders is a member of the men’s team and her mother skied and ran for the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
