Brigitte LaPointe

Volunteer Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball
At NMU Since 2007

Brigitte LaPointe was a  four-time letterwinner for the Finlandia University women’s basketball team,   At Finlandia, LaPointe received the team's Most Improved Player award for the 2004-05 season, as a senior she received Most Valuable Player honors and was a team captain. LaPointe averaged 12.0 ppg and 5.2 rpg while canning 54 three-pointers in her final season as a Lion. 

As an assistant for the Wildcats she will help with recruiting, film exchange and daily practice duties.

Brigitte received her degree as a physical therapist assistant in May 2007 and is currently completing her degree work in sports science at NMU.

A Baraga native, Brigitte resides in Marquette, Mich.
