‘Cat Nips: Shoots right.

Before NMU:  Played for the Marquette Rangers for two seasons (2007-09).  Had 61 points in 2008-09 with 25 goals and 36 assists.  Rookie of the year for the Rangers his first year with the team and MVP in the second.  A member of the NAHL All-North Division Team. 

Personal:  A 2007 graduate of Brighton High School.  Likes to fish. Undecided on major.  Son of Karen Pietila and Robert Pietila.  Born on February 8, 1989.
