Before NMU:  Played three seasons with the Des Moines Buccaneers (2006-09) of the United States Hockey League.  Played in 2008 USHL All-Star Game.  Best season with Des Moines was 2008-09 when he had 13 points on five goals and eight assists in 58 games.

Personal:  A 2008 graduate of Clarkston High School.  Undecided on major.  Son of Chris and Rick Handley.  Born on April 4, 1990.
