‘Cats Nips:  Appeared in 84 games for two letters and has 61 points on four goals and 57 assists.  Named one of the 2009-10 captains. Shoots left.

2008-09:  Picked up second letter after appearing in 40 games.  Led team with 30 assists for a career high. Named to the CCHA all-conference first team.  Named the CCHA Best Offensive Defenseman.  Named to the Reebok/ACHA Division I Ice Hockey All-America West second team selection. Scored first collegiate goal against Ferris State (11/18) at 2:07 of the third period, also picked up two assists.  Had four games of three points to tie a career high, 11/21 (0-3-3), 11/28 (1-2-3), 1/24 (0-3-3) and 2/27 (1-2-3).  Named the CCHA defenseman of the week three weeks in a row, 1/26, 2/2 and 2/9.  Assisted on half of NMU’s 10 goals against Western Michigan (1/30-31).  Awarded the Dallas Drake Defensive Player of the Year, Steve Bozek Plus-Minus and Tom Laidlaw Defenseman Awards. 

2007-08:  Earned first letter.  Led the team with 27 assists.  Recorded first collegiate point against Michigan on 10/20/07.  Had a five-game assist and point streak (0-10-10) for a career high.  Had three points against Ohio State on 3/7 for a career high (0-3-3). A member of the CCHA All-Rookie Team.

Before NMU:  Played for the Timra Red Eagles for two seasons. Had seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 2006-07. Team played in the Swedish J-20 superelit league.

Personal: A 2007 graduate of Timra Gymnasieskola. Likes to play soccer. Son of Marita and Andres Gustafsson. Majoring in entrepreneurship. Born on December 15, 1988.
