‘Cat Nips: Appeared in 40 games and tallied 17 (9-8) points during his freshman season to earn first letter. Was invited to the 2009 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, N.Y. Shoots left. 2008-09: Lettered for the first time after appearing in 40 games. Picked up first collegiate point against Notre Dame (11/1) on an assist. Scored first collegiate goal at 14:17 of the third period against Ferris State (11/28); he also had an assist for first multi-point game of career. Scored two goals at Wisconsin (1/2) for a career high. Had a three-game point streak for a career high (1-3-4) from 3/6-13.
