‘Cat Nips: Lettered for NMU in 2007-08 then played for the Green Bay Gamblers in 2008-09.  With the Gamblers was 24-11-3 with a 2.72 goal-against average and a .902 save-percentage. Catches left. 

2007-08:  Lettered for the first time.  Appeared in 11 games for NMU.  Had a career-high 30 saves at Bowling Green (11/17/07). 

Before NMU:  Lettered four times in hockey at Cloquet High School. Won the Frank Brimsek Award (top senior goaltender in the state) as a senior.  First team all-state as a senior. Two-time all-area first team. Played baseball; was a pitcher and an outfielder.  All-area first team in baseball as a senior.

Personal:  A 2007 graduate of Cloquet High School.  Likes to golf and go boating. Majoring in business. Son of Karen and Mike Ellingson. Born on April 14, 1989.
