K.C. Bjorne is in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the Northern Michigan University men’s golf team.  He was a four-time letterwinner with the NMU men’s golf team from 1997-01.  Bjorne was a member of the NMU golf team which advanced to the NCAA II Super Regional during the 1998-99 season. 

He was an assistant golf professional, for three years overall, with two years spent at the Marquette Golf Club.  Bjorne was a three-time club champion at Portage Lake Golf Course in Houghton, Mich. for 1997-99-00.  He also took the Marquette Golf Club Championship in 2006.

Bjorne graduated from Chassell High School where he lettered in golf and basketball four times.  He was a member of the Chassell team which captured the U.P. Class D team championship in golf in 1996. 

Bjorne graduated from NMU in 2001 with a degree in business management.  He is currently the Branch Manager at Superior Iron Range Community Federal Credit Union in Gwinn.  He has a son, Colin.
