High School: Lettered three times at Holt High School under Mike Smith. All-league and all-area pick. Honorable mention all-state. Team was twice league champion during high school career and once district and regional champ. Played baseball, where he was all-league, all-area and honorable mention all-state. Played on state championship basketball team.
