2008: Redshirted

High School: Lettered twice at Stevens Point Area Senior High School under Pete McAdams. First team all-conference, all-region and WFCA all-state as a senior. Team went 12-1 for senior year and won conference title. Also played basketball where he was honorable mention all-conference. Played baseball and threw the shot and discus in track.
