2008: Lettered for the second time.  Registered 41 total tackles (24 solo and 17 assisted). Had six sacks. Named to the GLIAC all-academic team.  

2007: Lettered for the first time. Had seven total tackles (two solo and five assisted). Named to the GLIAC all-academic team. Received the Most Improved Award for the team. 

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered in football three times at Birch Run Area High School under Chris Gilliam. Senior season was a first-team all-conference as a tight end and linebacker and second team all-area. As a junior was second-team all-conference and honorable mention all-area. Also participated in basketball and baseball.

Personal: Likes to hunt, fish and trap. Majoring in marketing. Sister, Tracey, played softball at Alma College. Son of Paula and Ben Blessing. Born on September 16, 1988.
