2008-09:  Lettered.  Appeared in 27 games and started 26.  Named the GLIAC Freshman of the Year.  Named the Newcomer of the Year for the NMU team. Played the entire 40 minutes in nine games.  Poured in a career-high 26 points against Hillsdale (2/19).  Made nine shots from the floor against the Chargers.  Was six of nine in three-pointers at Tiffin (2/7) for a career high.  Pulled down eight rebounds at Northwood (12/4) for a career high.  Had five steals against Ashland (1/10).  Led team in assists with 83. 2007-08:  Took a redshirt year.
High School: Lettered four times at Milwaukee South High School. Two-time second team all-conference selection. Co-MVP in 2007 at the Blueprint Showcase as a point guard/shooting guard. Also participated in cross country where he was a second team all-conference as a senior. A state finalist in cross country.
Personal: Likes to run cross country and listen to music. Majoring in accounting. Son of Kimberly Houston and Harold McElroy. Born on May 31, 1989.
