High School:  Lettered in basketball four times at Superior Central under Cary Chartier.  Two-time All-CUP Conference first tea selection.  Two-time All-U.P. pick.  All-CUP All-Defensive Team as a junior.   Team was two-time district  champions.  Also played football where he was first team all-conference and All-U.P. as a wide receiver.  Participated in track as he was sixth in the U.P. finals in the high jump as a senior.

Personal:  Likes to play golf and hunt.  Majoring in nursing.  Son of Lynne and Randy Maki.  Both parents attended NMU.  Played on the Marquette Magic AAU Team under former Wildcat Matt LaPage.  Born on September 26, 1989.
