2008-09:  Appeared in 12 games and started one.  Scored six points at Lake Superior State (2/28) for a career high.  Pulled down six rebounds against Northland College for a career high (12/29). Was three of five from the floor against the Lakers.
2007-08:  Took a redshirt year.
High School: Lettered twice in basketball at Ontonagon Area High School. As a junior, was a first team all-conference selection and all-U.P. honorable mention. Senior season, was a first team all-conference, first team all-U.P. and first team all-state as selected by the Associated Press. Also participated in football and track.
Personal: Enjoys hunting and lifting weights. Undecided on major. Son of Geri and John Hawley. Brother, Kyle, is a member of the NMU basketball team.  Father attended NMU.  Born on September 29, 1988.
