NMU Blue Line Club

Are you an NMU hockey fan?  If so, show your support by joining the NMU Blue Line Club. Join now!

The Blue Line Club was established in 1982 to support the intercollegiate ice hockey program at Northern Michigan University, ensuring that it is competitive with, or superior to, other comparable ice hockey programs in the United States. Members’ donations assist the program with scholarships, recruiting and equipment.

There are several levels of membership, but that all have the same goal in mind – helping make NMU intercollegiate hockey as strong as possible. 

Benefits of membership include:

• Access to the Wildcat Room Hospitality (every game)
• Pre-game “chalk talks” with Coach Kyle
• Annual “club appreciation” reception at Coach Kyle’s home
• Weekly update e-mails from the coach

The Blue Line Club hosts luncheon's on most home game Fridays.  The luncheons begin at noon, are open to the public, and the cost is $8.50 per person.  The luncheons for 2008-09 are as follows.

• October 10 in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center
• October 17 in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center
• October 31 in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center
• November 21 in the Michigan and Ontario Rooms of the University Center
• January 23 in the Michigan and Ontario Rooms of the University Center
• February 6 in the Michigan and Ontario Rooms of the University Center
• February 27 at UpFront and Company

The club also sponsors several special events.  The events for 2008-09 include:

• October 17 - Wildcat Room Social with a cash bar

• October 18 - 4th Period Reception at Hudson's

• November 29 - 4th Period Reception at Vango's

• December 20 - Wildcat Room Social with a cash bar

• January 23 - Wildcat Room Social with a cash bar

• January 24 - 4th Period Reception at the Landmark Inn

• February 7 - Annual Club Appreciation Party at Walt and Ann Kyle's

• February 27 - Wildcat Room Social with a cash bar

• February 28 - 4th Period Reception at the Casa Calabria
