Summer Sports Camps

2009 Hockey Camps:

Big Cat 3-on-3 (program includes all 9 sessions) - April 8, 13, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and May 3, 6
Summer Day Camp  - July 13-17

How to Register for Camp:

Complete the registration forms and send payment (check or money order made out to Northern Michigan University) to:

What to Bring to Camp:

Big Cat 3-on-3: Full hockey equipment and clothing, face shield, and water bottle
Summer Day Camp: Full hockey equipment and clothing, face shield, water bottle, off ice stick to be used outside, off ice exercise clothing and shoes

Big Cat 3-on-3 - Registration Brochure

The Big Cat 3-on-3 Development Program is a clinic that allows for young players to have fun and develop their in-game playing abilities.  There is no on-ice structure or coaching as the staff simply organizes the players into teams for 3-on-3 hockey playing fun. 

Dates and Times
The program includes 9 sessions: April 8, 13, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and May 3, 6
Mites/Squirts: Sunday 1-2:15 p.m. and Wednesday 6-7:00 p.m.
Squirts/Pee Wees: Sunday 2:30-3:45 p.m. and Wednesday 7:15-8:15 p.m.
Pee Wees/Bantams: Sunday 4-5:15 p.m. and Wednesday 8:30-9:30 p.m.
Cost Ages  Registration Deadline
$135 per person
$95 for goalies

Summer Day Camp - Registration Brochure

Hockey is a game of fundamentals.  The best coach is one that teaches these fundamentals and the best players use them as a natural response.  This will be the focus of the summer day camp, to develop the fundamental skills it takes to play hockey, as well as an understanding of the basic concepts it takes to be a complete player.
