Physical Education Instructional Facility (PEIF)
The Physical Education Instructional Facility houses a pool, racquetball courts, a dance studio, athletic training facilities, locker rooms, offices and classrooms, as well as an auxiliary gymnasium. It also contains a two-level recreation center that includes a climbing wall, cardiovascular and weight equipment, basketball courts, lounges and a spinning room. |

Residence Hall
NMU has 10 distinct residence hall communities. Each hall contains smaller communities, called houses, which consist of about 45 students each. These houses share the hall identity, but they have their own personalities, expectations, traditions and activities. Tour a suite and TV room |

Superior Dome
The Superior Dome is the world's largest wooden dome, encompassing 5.1 acres. It has a 16,000-person capacity and it houses the world's largest single piece of artificial turf, which retracts to reveal a running track, and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. Students take advantage of a variety of services housed inside the University Center.
