Enrollment and Degree Verification

Do you need verification of your enrollment at NMU? The National Student Clearinghouse is our authorized agent for providing these services. Simply log in to MyNMU, click on the student services tab, then “enrollment verification.” If you have graduated and your employer needs proof of graduation, they may also obtain that though the Clearinghouse by going to www.studentclearinghouse.org.

	Who is Your Adviser? Students should meet with their academic adviser prior to registering for winter 2011 course registration; freshmen are required to do so, as are some majors. If you’re new to NMU and don’t know who your adviser is, you can find out here.
	Commencement Information If you are graduating in December, congratulations! You can stay abreast of commencement information, such as rehearsal time, at www.nmu.edu/commencement. You'll need to order your cap and gown via the NMU Bookstore by mid-October. Whether you're participating in the ceremony or not, don’t forget to register for graduation with the appropriate code, if you haven't already done so during course registration.
	Reaching You Northern Michigan University uses a student's NMU e-mail account as its primary means of communicating official university business, including legally required information as a condition of enrollment. All NMU students are required to use their assigned NMU e-mail accounts to receive communication from the university.
