Summer Activities

Get a taste of college life during the Upward Bound summer program. For six weeks, you will be immersed in academic, personal, social, cultural, and recreational activities on the NMU campus. Not only will you be living away from home in an NMU residence hall, you will also be eating in NMU cafeterias and taking classes every day. Classes are designed to help you improve skills in the following areas:

• writing
• literature
• mathematics (through pre-calculus)
• laboratory science
• foreign language
