Each semester, NMU offers dozens of courses online from these and other departments.
All NMU online courses are taught through WebCT, which is a course management system. WebCT is software that allows educational institutions to create and host courses on the Internet. Go to the WebCT home page to learn more about how this program will help you to view course materials, complete assignments and quizzes, view grades and monitor your progress.
Northern’s campus portal, MyNMU.edu, has the most up-to-date listing of online courses. You don't have to log in, just
and all the Web courses for the department (as well as the ability to see if they are open or closed) will be displayed.
To view online courses for more than one subject area, highlight the first subject area, press your control key, scroll to the next subject, then left click to highlight the second area as well. To view all online courses, highlight the first department in the subject box, press your shift key, scroll to the bottom of the field and then left click to highlight the entire subject field area.
