You may view an abbreviated schedule of activities for the session you plan on attending. You will be given a complete schedule, including locations of events, when you check in at orientation.
If parents/guests are accompanying you to your orientation session, there is an abbreviated parent/guest schedule at the bottom of the student schedule of activities.
You should attend orientation based on when you are admitted. If you plan to begin classes during the winter semester you should register for the winter orientation. If you plan to begin classes during the fall semester you should attend a summer session. If you need to change the semester in which you will be attending, please contact the Admissions Office.
Remember, NMU is located in the Eastern time zone.

You may only attend this orientation if you are not going to be living in the residence halls while attending Northern, you are over the age of 24, married, have one or more dependents living in household or are a veteran.

For purposes of selecting an orientation session, please select transfer session if you have completed 12 or more college level credits after high school graduation. Please select freshman session if you have earned less than 12 college level credits.
