All new students to Northern Michigan University are required to attend an orientation session prior to registering for classes. If you would like to register for summer classes, but have not attended orientation yet, please contact the the New Student Orientation Program at (906) 227-1707 or orient@nmu.edu. You will need to attend an orientation session to register for fall semester courses. Guest students who are only attending NMU for the summer semester are not required to attend orientation.
