The Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate is designed for nurses who already possess a nursing master’s degree but wish to pursue an FNP specialty. All candidates must make an application to Northern Michigan University’s College of Graduate Studies and then to the School of Nursing selecting the FNP Post Master’s Certificate program. All applicants must meet the admission requirements for the MSN program (identified below). The course of study is individualized based upon previous graduate course work.
