Perhaps you know very little about the Marquette Senior Center except that there is one. Beginning with a little coffee and cookies for a late morning treat, you will hear about the services the Center provides for seniors, uses of its facility, and functions that are coordinated and held at the Center. You will learn about its programs, meet the staff, and observe the facility. A hot lunch prepared by AMCAB’s (Alger Marquette Community Action Board meal program) will also be provided following the presentation for a donation of $3 if ordered in advance (with the liaison below) for those who wish to stay. Continued conversation with the staff and additional inquiries can be addressed during ‘the dining time.’ You may find that at times the Senior Center could be a useful place for you.
When: Wednesday, October 28 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Optional lunch ($3) follows if order placed ahead with liaison.
