Marcelo E. Siles, Ph.D – Executive Director

Dr. Siles joined Northern Michigan University as the executive director of International Programs in July 2007. Working with a diverse segment of campus constituents –and with the International Programs staff – Dr. Siles has established goals to: increase the number of international students enrolled at NMU; to increase study abroad in both long- and short-term experiences; and to increase the International Programs’ visibility on and off campus. msiles@nmu.edu

Rehema is responsible for our international students (degree seeking and exchange) and scholars that attend Northern Michigan University, along with our English as a Second Language program. reclarke@nmu.edu

Student Assistants Crystal Falvo, Siranda Jacobs and Austin Smith assist International Programs and Modern Languages and Literatures faculty, staff and students with a variety of duties. One of the main duties includes communicating with international students on their admissions status and answering questions about NMU student life and the Marquette community. ipo@nmu.edu
