There are still openings to several of NMU's summer faculty-led study abroad programs, including Argentina, Honduras, Vienna and Peru. These faculty-led programs are short in duration (usually 1-2 weeks) and include credit that applies to your NMU degree. | Gilman Scholarships |

The deadline to apply for a Benjamin Gilman Award for Study Abroad is April 15. Gilman scholarships range from $3,000 to $7,000. The Gilman awards were established by the U.S. Congress to support PELL-grant recipients who might not otherwise be able to afford a study abroad experience. Several NMU students have been past recipients including Jessica Cross in Turkey and Nancy Kenok in Mexico. |
