NMU International Performing Arts Series and UNITED Conference Concert Poll

For the second straight year, the NMU International Performing Arts Series (IPAS) and the UNITED Conference (Uniting Neighbors in the Experience of Diversity) will be teaming up to sponsor the opening concert of the IPAS season.  This concert will take place on Thursday, September 16, 2010. As with last year, we are asking you to give us your vote as to which group you would like to see come to NMU to open the IPAS.

We have compiled a list of six fantastic acts who we feel represent the missions of both the IPAS and UNITED Conference and also are available on that date (and have performance fees that fall within our budgets).  To make it easier to choose, we have created an on-line poll where you can make your selections.  We also ask that you provide your e-mail address so that we can enter you into a drawing for two free tickets to the opening concert.  However, there will be only one entry per person (so your address will not be entered multiple times for the drawing).

Voting will end on Monday, February 15 at 12p.m.   At that time, the votes will be tabulated and the results will be e-mailed to the campus community.  Here is the link for the poll.  http://nmu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_5hzyHekoWN8lMbi&SVID=Prod

All thanks to Mark Shevy for his help in creating the voting poll.

Thanks to Sponsors
Balley FolkloricoNorthern Michigan University and the International Performing Arts staff would like to thank the series’ 2009-10 co-sponsors: the Ramada Inn and Arts Midwest.  Without their support, this year’s series would not have the depth and breadth we are lucky to enjoy.
