NMU Golf Course

Golf course and driving range are closed for the season

The NMU Golf Course, formerly known as Chocolay Downs, is part of Northern Michigan University and is located in the southern part of the city of Marquette, Mich., about nine miles from  NMU's main campus.

The course is a Jerry and Bruce Mathews III design. It is surrounded by wooded areas, homes and condos.

In 1993, the course saw the completion of its full 18 holes. It features  a fair amount of roll to it with few traps and very little water. Golfers also enjoy the competitive rates.

9 holes walking - $12
18 holes walking - $18
9 holes riding - $20
18 holes riding - $25

Fall Memberships now available - only $75 for an NMU Student for remainder of 2009 season.

$125 for Single Adult Fall Membership.

Twighlight - after 5:00pm walk and golf all you care to for only $11.
