Donating to an Existing Scholarship

Centennial Scholarships: This scholarship fund was established in 1998 in honor of the NMU Centennial. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time students with a 3.25 GPA for freshmen, or 3.0 college GPA for sophomores and above, and must demonstrate financial need. The scholarship awards are $1000 annually; they are renewable if the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. The number of scholarships awarded in a given year will vary with the growth and earnings of the fund.

Annual Fund: Each year a portion of the Annual Fund is designated to provide scholarships to worthy students, both for academic achievement and talent. An Annual Fund gift of any amount may be considered scholarship support.

Others: The NMU Foundation stewards over 150 other scholarships, annual and endowed, that were created to assist students in specific areas of study or who meet other criteria. Click here for a complete list of current Foundation scholarships. Donors are welcome to contribute to these awards.
