Scholarships that are offered through the NMU Foundation are privately funded by donors who have created these opportunities for a variety of reasons. Often, these scholarships or endowments are established to honor a family member, classmate, mentor, friend or faculty member. In some instances, the donor wishes to support a specific area of study or students from a particular region.
