Robert Gorsuch

Robert (Bob) Gorsuch '67

Mr. Gorsuch received his bachelor of science in Business and Accounting from NMU in 1967. He graduated with honors. He is a lifetime member and former board member of the Alumni Association. He is active in his community and has received the Sales & Marketing Executives of Madison Executive of the Year Award and the Wisconsin Community Banker Award of Excellence.

Mr. Gorsuch and his wife Carol have established a NMU Foundation Leadership Scholar (formerly Presidential Scholars) award and support the Annual Fund, the College of Business, the Alumni Association, NMU hockey and football and also contribute to existing scholarships and endowments. They are members of the President's Lifetime Giving Society.

Larry Inman

Larry C. Inman '76
Traverse City, MI
County Commissioner, Grand Traverse County, MI

Mr. Inman received his associate of science from Northwestern Michigan College in 1974 and earned his bachelor of science from Northern Michigan University in 1976. Mr. Inman has numerous community, civic, state and national affiliations, including Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and the State of Michigan Community Corrections Board. He is a former member of the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees and served as an ex-officio member of the NMU Foundation Board of Trustees during that time.

Mr. Inman supports the Annual Fund and the Alumni Association Fund.

Sue LeGalley

Sue LeGalley
Marquette, MI

Ms. LeGalley was born in Princeton, Minnesota. She graduated from the Miller School of Nursing in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1972. She is married to Dr. Thomas LeGalley and they have three children. Her past and present civic responsibilities include numerous local and regional organizations and non-profits. In 1997 she was the Zonta Woman of the Year. She was a member of the NMU Foundation Board of Trustees from 1996-2007, serving as secretary from 2003-2007.

Ms. LeGalley and her husband Tom belong to the Golden Wildcat Club and support the Centennial Scholarship program. They also contribute to numerous other scholarships and endowments and support Public Broadcasting, the College of Professional Studies, the Annual Fund and NMU hockey and football. They are members of the President's Lifetime Giving Society.

L. Garnet Lewis

Leigh Garnet Lewis, PhD '86
Mt. Pleasant, MI
Associate Director of Professional Education, Central Michigan University

Ms. Lewis has over 20 years of experience in higher education, including serving as Director of Institutional Research at Saginaw Valley State University, the Associate Vice-President for Student Services at Tarleton University and Research Associate at the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her bachelor of science from Truman State University in 1983, her master of arts in education from Northern Michigan University in 1986 and her doctor of philosophy from the University of North Texas in 1992. Ms. Lewis is a past member and president of the NMU Alumni Association Board. As president of the Alumni Association board she also served as an ex-officio member of the NMU Foundation Board of Trustees.

Ms. Lewis is a supporter of the Alumni Building Fund, the Alumni Association and the Student Leader Fellowship Program. She is also a contributor to several scholarships and endowments and the Wildcat Club. She is a member of the President's Lifetime Giving Society.

Don Miller

Don W. Miller
Marquette, MI

Retired - Formerly Independent Manufacturer's Representative of the Thompson Group, selling die-cutting presses to companies in the graphic arts industry.

He received his bachelor of science in business administration from Ferris University in 1967 and his master of business administration from Central Michigan University in 1969. He is in the President's Society at Ferris State where he is also a member of the Board of Director's Development Council and on the Board of Directors for the School of Business Alumni Association. Mr. Miller is also on the Board of Directors for the Reynolds Foundation. His spouse, Joan, is an alumnus of Northern Michigan University.

Mr. Miller and his wife support the Annual Fund and are contributors to the DeVos Art Museum, Public Radio, the Vandament Endowment and the College of Professional Studies.
