About Us

Formerly known as the Development Fund, the NMU Foundation is committed to working with individuals, groups and organizations to support Northern programs and students. The members of the Foundation Board of Trustees, along with the Foundation staff, oversee the activities of the Foundation. In addition, they advise, educate and facilitate the efforts of various university community constituencies concerning development issues. Its main development efforts include raising private funds for scholarships, endowments, academic departments and affinity clubs.
