The Foreigner

Scene from GeorgiaEver wanted to be a fly on the wall?  In The Foreigner, shy Charlie pretends to be a foreigner who neither speaks nor understands English. In this state of muted bliss, Charlie becomes privy to the scandals surrounding him, including the pregnancy of the minister’s fiancé. Larry Shue’s zany comedy premiered at the Milwaukee Rep, where NMU theatre students Leah Hocking, Andrew Mellen and Bryan Johnson made their professional debuts.

The Foreigner, by Larry Shue, will be performed Oct. 1-4 at 7:30 with a 1 p.m. matinee on October 4.

This play is included in season ticket packages.  Season tickets for all four shows are $36 for adults and general public, $25 for NMU students.  Season ticket packages are available through Sept. 5, 2008 only.

To purchase tickets, contact the Forest Roberts Theatre box office at 906-227-2082 or an NMU EZ Ticket outlet.
