The 2008-09 Forest Roberts Theatre season will wrap up with The Tempest, the last of William Shakespeare’s great plays. The Tempest tells the story of Prospero, the magician, who lives with his daughter on an enchanted island peopled by monsters and sprites. This intricate comedy of magic and revenge will be Dr. James Panowski’s “swan song” as he bids a fond farewell to the Forest Roberts Theatre after 32 years as its director.
Performances are April 21-25 at 7:30 p.m. with a 1 p.m. matinee on April 25.
This classic is included in season ticket packages. Season tickets for all four shows are $36 for adults and general public, $25 for NMU students. Season ticket packages are available through Sept. 5, 2008 only.
To purchase tickets, contact the Forest Roberts Theatre box office at 906-227-2082 or an NMU EZ Ticket outlet.
