Michigan Competitive Scholarship
| Eligibility: | High school students are selected if they have achieved a qualifying score on the ACT examination and have been designated a Michigan Competitive semifinalist. Financial need must also be demonstrated. |
| Available Assistance: | Varies, usually $1,300. |
| How to Apply: | Submit FAFSA and release information to the State of Michigan Scholarship/Grant Program by the March 1st deadline. |
| Enrollment Requirements: | Full-time undergraduate - 12 credit hours or more; 6 to 11 credits pro-rated award. |
Michigan Educational Opportunity Grant Program
| Eligibility: | Awarded on the basis of financial need. Must have been a Michigan resident for at least 12 months. Must not be incarcerated in a corrections institution, and not be in default on a Stafford (guaranteed) Direct Student Loan or Supplemental Student Loan. |
| Available Assistance: | Varies, $1000 per year. Limited to 10 semesters of eligibility. |

Michigan Adult Part-Time Grant Program
| Eligibility: | Awarded to self-supporting students who have lived in Michigan for at least 12 months and who can demonstrate financial need. Must be out of high school (other than GED or adult education) for at least two years, not be incarcerated in a corrections institution and not be in default on a Stafford (Guaranteed), Direct Student Loan or Supplemental Student Loan. |
| Available Assistance: | Varies, up to $600 per year for not more than two years of undergraduate study. |

Michigan Work-Study Program
| Eligibility: | Awarded on the basis of financial need. Must have been a Michigan resident for at least 12 months. Must not be in default on a Stafford (guaranteed), Direct Student Loan or Supplemental Student Loan. |

Tuition Incentive Program (TIP)
| Eligibility: | Students who apply before graduating from high school or receiving a GED, are under the age of 20 at the time of graduation or GED completion, and are or have been receiving Medicaid from the Family Independence Agency. |
