002301This is Northern Michigan University’s Federal School Code that you will use when completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). _________________________________ 2012-2013 Academic Year: For maximum aid consideration and to help ensure your aid is in place by the time 2012 fall tuition is due, please file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1, 2012. 2011-2012 Academic Year: Students can still file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if attending the 2011-2012 Academic Year. |

| The Direct PLUS Loan is a loan parents can borrow on behalf of their dependent student. This funding is through the Federal government and the student must have a completed FAFSA on file. |

| Repeat Courses |

| The Financial Aid Office will no longer monitor courses that are repeated for the first time. For financial aid purposes, students will be able to repeat a course one time for any reason. If you are considering repeating a course, please review the Repeat Course Policy. |
