NMU has partnered with Johnson Controls Inc.
NMU has partnered with Johnson Controls Inc. on campus buildings in a performance contract. The project is estimated to save the university approximately $200,000 per year in these two buildings. The project includes a dozen campus buildings.

Two More NMU Projects Achieve LEED Certification

Hunt - Van Antwerp Lobby.

The Hunt-Van Antwerp Lobby Renovation along with the Magers-Meyland Lobby Renovation have both recently received a LEED CI Green Building Certification. This brings the university's total number of LEED Certified projects to five. Click here to read more.

Campus Wayfinding Plan

In 2009 the university developed a new Wayfinding (exterior signage) plan to better define the campus boundaries and help visitors quickly and efficiently find their way to and around campus.
